Volume of Trade Between the Sughd Region and Azerbaijani Regions Amounts to Nearly $500,000

DUSHANBE, 26.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The volume of trade between the Sughd region of Tajikistan and the regions of Azerbaijan for 5 months of this year amounted to about $500,000. This was stated at the meeting of the leadership of the Sughd region with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tajikistan Alimirzamin Askerov.
The meeting was held as part of the 2023 Sughd International Trade Exhibition, which will allow entrepreneurs of the two countries to implement joint projects and contribute to increasing the exchange of goods.
An exchange of views took place on the current state of relations between the states and prospects.
It was noted that the cities of Khujand and Ganja are sister cities.
