Amonatbank of Tajikistan and Halk-Bank of Uzbekistan Expand Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 18.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The issue of establishing and strengthening cooperation between Amonatbank of Tajikistan and Halk-Bank of Uzbekistan was discussed at a meeting between the Chairman of the Board of Amonatbank Sirojiddin Ikromi and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Halk-Bank Dilshod Kutliev in Dushanbe.
The meeting also focused on issues of the beginning of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its development, including important aspects of the beginning of bilateral cooperation in various areas of banking, the expansion of correspondent relations with the signing of an agreement on bilateral cooperation and, on its basis, the strengthening of transactions and payments in foreign currency.
Along with this, the meeting also focused on finding a new way of cooperation between banks, exchanging experience in various sectors, opening correspondent accounts and creating a joint investment climate, as well as other topics related to the banking sector.
