Tajikistan Will Be Represented at the International Exhibition of Horticulture and Urban Greening in Turkiye

DUSHANBE, 17.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Embassy of Tajikikstan in Turkiye in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the governments of the Dangara district of the Khatlon region and the Onikishubat district of the Kahramanmaras province of Turkiye opened the pavilion of Tajikistan at the Kahramanmaras EXPO 2023.
The pavilion consists of a garden of trees and flowers with an area of 800 m2 and a hall with an area of 50 m2. Inside it, household items are exhibited, including handicrafts, paintings, books, national clothes and samples of products representing Tajik folk crafts.
As part of the EXPO, the pavilion of Tajikistan was visited by Vice-President Cevdet Yilmaz, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli, Mayor of Kahramanmaras province Hayrettin Gungor and other high-ranking officials.
As part of the opening ceremony of the pavilion, the Chairman of the Dangara district of the Khatlon region Islomiddin Rahmon met with the Mayor of the Onikishubat district of Kahramanmaras province Hanefi Mahcicek.
The parties discussed the possibilities of developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Tajikistan and Turkiye in various sectors of the economy, as well as agriculture and light industry.
The exhibition will run until January 14, 2024.
