DUSHANBE, 11.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 11, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, opened in Sangvor district the «Sayyoh» Shopping Center and Hotel, which was built as part of the construction and improvement works dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The building of the hotel and shopping center built with a modern architectural design consists of 4 floors and a basement.

After commissioning of the facility 12 local residents have been provided with well-paid jobs.

The Head of State was informed that, according to the project, a grocery store is located on the first floor of the newly built building, and a store of construction materials and household appliances is located on the second floor. In the service center, payment is made through modern technology.

The third and fourth floors of the building are entirely intended for the hotel. On the third floor of the building there is a tourist reception, bedrooms and a conference hall.

The fourth floor consists entirely of bedrooms. In total, there are 10 rooms with 15 beds in the hotel «Sayyoh», built by businessman Osim Safarov.

During the acquaintance with the conditions and possibilities of the hotel the President of the country, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the style of work of the architects, quality of the construction works and the conditions provided, and considered the construction of such a facility important in today’s conditions. Because the number of tourists to our country is increasing every year.

The Head of State was informed that in the future, according to the project, a summer lounge will be built on the fifth floor of the building for recreation and entertainment of tourists and guests, from which all the beautiful landscapes of Sangvor district will be visible, and this factor will help to attract more tourists.

The total area of ​​the building is 820 square meters. Its surroundings are decorated in a modern way, and the corridors with decorative flowers have made the building even more beautiful.

During the construction works, 50 builders were employed with well-paid jobs in this facility.

The installation of modern lighting fixtures will add attractive appearance to the building at night.

Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon emphasized during the conversation that many tourists pass through Sangvor district every year and go to Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province. Therefore, it is very important to build such a hotel with a shopping center with modern facilities and opportunities.

In the courtyard of the high-rise building, along with other leisure and entertainment opportunities, there is a parking lot for bicycles intended for tourists and guests.

During the conversation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, guided the officials of the field to the effective use of tourism opportunities through the construction of such modern facilities.

The facility was built on the basis of state support of the private sector and the development of business and tourism. Thus, with the construction of the “Sayyoh” Hotel, the number of hotels in Sangvor district increased to 7.
