Dushanbe Hosts the Twentieth Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of People’s Deputies

DUSHANBE, 10.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Dushanbe hosted the twentieth extraordinary session of the Assembly of People’s Deputies of the sixth convocation.
The session was chaired by the Chairman of the Assembly of People’s Deputies of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali.
The agenda included issues on establishing the sizes of electoral districts for the elections of the Assembly of People’s Deputies of Dushanbe and the creation of a city election commission for the elections.
While having considered the issues, the session made a decision to establish the number of electoral districts for the elections of the Assembly of People’s Deputies of Dushanbe within 70 units.
Also, a city election commission for the elections of the Assembly of People’s Deputies consisting of 9 people was established.
Relevant decisions were made on all the issues discussed.
