Tajikistan’s Tourism Potential Presented at the Pakistan Travel Mart 2025

DUSHANBE, 03.02.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The tourism potential of the Republic of Tajikistan was presented from January 31 through February 2 at the Pakistan Travel Mart 2025 in the city of Karachi, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, reports the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
A corner was created at the exhibition demonstrating the tourism potential of Tajikistan. Tajik national dishes, dances and songs were presented.
As part of the exhibition, a forum «Defining Priority Tourism Directions for a Sustainable Future» was held, where the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development Jamshed Jumakhonzoda spoke.
Jamshed Jumakhonzoda also met with the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Ancient Heritage of Sindh Province of Pakistan Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and discussed the issues of mutual attraction of tourists to both countries.
A meeting of responsible persons of Tajik and Pakistani companies was also held with the aim of expanding a greater number of tourist routes in Tajikistan and attracting foreign tourists.
It should be noted that 250,000 people from 45 countries took part in this exhibition.
