DUSHANBE, 05.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali, met with the Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan, Keiko Furuta.
The meeting focused on the current state and prospects for cooperation.
Rustam Emomali warmly congratulated Keiko Furuta on the beginning of her diplomatic mission in Tajikistan and expressed confidence that her efforts and effective work would make a valuable contribution to strengthening the partnership between the two countries across various fields.
The parties emphasized the importance of enhancing trade, economic, and socio-cultural cooperation, noting that Tajikistan and Japan possess ample opportunities and resources for multifaceted collaboration.
Both sides expressed their interest in expanding cooperation in the areas of healthcare, education, road and bridge construction, digitalization of wastewater systems, energy, and heating.
