Tajik Finance Minister Meets World Bank Official in Washington, Discusses Financial Sector Cooperation

Tajikistan’s Finance Minister Faiziddin Qahhorzoda met with Cecil Niang, Director of Financial Operations, Competitiveness and Innovation at the World Bank, during a visit to the U.S. capital, the Tajik Finance Ministry said.
The two sides discussed expanding cooperation in financial sector development, improving private sector access to finance, developing the domestic capital market, advancing digitalization of the economy and enhancing the investment climate, according to the ministry.
Both sides expressed readiness to further deepen cooperation in these areas.
