DUSHANBE, 03.04.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The elections of deputies to Majlis of People’s Deputies of the city of Dushanbe took place in constituency № 25 (Ismoili Somoni District), and № 62 (Firdavsi District) on April 2.

In total the Somoni district’s election commissions registered 3 persons as candidates to Majlis of People’s Deputies instead of retired ones.

Candidate Rustam Emomali from the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan won with 84.80 percent of the vote, with his opponents, Fazliddin Ikromov of the Agrarian Party of Tajikistan and Hikmatullo Saidiyon of the Democratic Party of Tajikistan, garnering just 7.81 and 2.65 percent of the vote respectively.

The candidate Mahmadsaid Zuvaidzoda from the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan won with 75.11% percent of the vote, with his opponents,the candidate from the Agrarian Party of Tajikistan, Mavsuma Abdulloeva and Vasila Fayzullobekova of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, garnering just 11.65 and 8.78 of the vote respectively at the constituency # 62 of the Firdavsi district.
