Temporary Hospital for COVID-19 Patients Opened in Dushanbe Today
DUSHANBE, 08.05.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – A temporary hospital with 500 beds for the treatment of COVID-19 infected patients and 150 beds for doctors was put into operation today.
This morning, the Assistant to the President for Social Development and Public Relations Affairs Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda and the Minister of Health Jamoliddin Abdullozoda inspected the hospital.
Earlier, Dushanbe Chairman Rustami Emomali instructed the Health Department and other relevant city structures to prepare temporary hospitals for the concurrent treatment of 3,000 coronavirus infected patients.
Currently, the anti-epidemiological situation in Tajikistan and measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are under the constant control of President Emomali Rahmon, Dushanbe Chairman Rustam Emomali and the republican COVID-19 prevention commission.
