Tajikistan Participates in Discussion of Dubai Expo 2020 Organizational Issues

DUSHANBE, 26.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The fifth meeting of international participants of EXPO 2020 has started online on August 24.
It was attended by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, General Commissioner of Tajikistan’s exposition at EXPO 2020 Jamshed Jumakhonzoda.
The online meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Secretary General of the International Exhibitions Bureau Dimitri Kerkentzes, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence of the UAE, Commissioner General of EXPO 2020 Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the Department Civil Aviation of the Emirate of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai Airport, Executive Director and President of The Emirates Group, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of EXPO 2020 Sheikh Ahmed bin Said Al Maktoum, and the Minister of State for International Cooperation of the UAE, Director General of EXPO 2020 Rim Al Hashemi.
The online event will end on August 27.
The meeting is one of the key stages in preparation for the EXPO 2020 in Dubai this year.
More than 500 EXPO 2020 participants — delegates from 180 countries take part in this four-day event, which is a kind of checkpoint for the organizers of the largest exhibition project in the world.
The meeting participants will discuss issues relating to the construction and rental of pavilions, equipment and arrangement of exhibits, updating sites and operating principles, security, accreditation, pavilion management, cultural and business events, national days, and other issues.
