DUSHANBE, 09.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali received the newly appointed Commander of the Russian 201st Military Base in Tajikistan Yevgeny Kovylin at his request.

The meeting focused on the current state and prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between Dushanbe Chairman’s Office and the 201st Military Base in Tajikistan.

The parties also discussed issues of improving relations within the framework of the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Russia.

They emphasized that over the 30 years of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries, cooperation has reached a new level and had widened its horizons.

The meeting also focused on establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between Dushanbe Chairman’s Office and the Russian constituent entities in various fields.

The Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Igor Lyakin-Frolov also attended the meeting.
