Tajik Delegation Attends the Meeting of the States of the Electorate in Morocco

DUSHANBE, 16.10.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Hokim Kholikzoda took part in the meeting of the electorate states at the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group 2023 in Morocco.
It was noted the role of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in facilitating multilateral dialogues between member states and in open discussion of problems and situations in the modern world.
Kholikzoda provided the event participants with specific information about the economic indicators and banking system of Tajikistan, the implementation of financial reforms provided for by the National Financial Inclusion Strategy for 2022-2026, as well as strengthening the digital infrastructure and supporting innovative financial initiatives.
He also noted that Tajikistan has identified the main direction for implementing structural reforms in various sectors of the economy to achieve long-term goals.
«In addition, an important aspect of this process is to conduct constructive negotiations and consultations with the international financial institution,» added chairman of the bank.
