PM Rasulzoda Chairs the First Meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Third Dushanbe Water Conference

DUSHANBE, 02.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda chaired the first meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Third International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028.»
Members of the Organizing Committee, heads of relevant ministries and departments reported on the progress of preparation and organizational work related to holding this event, which will be held within the framework of the global initiatives of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on water and climate issues.
It was emphasized that the conference will be held in June of this year in Dushanbe, which is expected to be attended by heads of state and government from a number of countries, regional and international organizations.
According to the program, joint dialogues, forums and individual sessions on water and climate issues are planned as part of the conference.
Prime Minister instructed members of the Organizing Committee, heads of ministries and departments to prepare at a high level and expand work on organizing and holding ceremonies at this high-level.
