New Year’s Farmer’s Markets to be Held Throughout the City
DUSHANBE, 18.12.2018. (NIAT Khovar) – Farmer’s markets will be held in various districts of Dushanbe from December 21 to December 31, 2018.
The decision was made by the Mayor of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali in order to add to the fresh native produce available to residents and guests of the city.
Farmers of Sughd, Vahdat, Khatlon, Faizobod, Rasht, Nurobod, Tojikobod, Sandvor, Tursunzoda , Hissar and the districts of Shahrinav, Rudaki and the Khatlon Oblast will offer their produce to city’s residents and guests at affordable prices.
Farmers from the Sughd region will offer their produce in the Mehrgon market in the Ismoili Somoni district. Farmers from Vahdat, Lyakhsh, Faizabad, Rasht, Nurabad, Tajikabad and Sanvor districts will be present at the crossroads of Huseynzade and Mirzo Tursunzade streets in the Shohmansur district. Farmers from the cities of Tursunzade and Gissar, as well as Shakhrinav and Rudaki districts will be near the market by the Kariyai Bolo hospital in the Sino district. Khatlon Oblast famers will be next to the Sakhovat market in the Firdavsi district.
