Dushanbe Chairman Meets With the US Ambassador to Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 23.11.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali met with the US Ambassador to Tajikistan John Mark Pommersheim.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the current state and prospect of bilateral cooperation and relations.
The officials analyzed the current level of existing cooperation and identified new areas of interaction.
The two parties also shared views on the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, education, culture, and the exchange of scientific and educational programs.
The meeting participants also covered issues relating to strengthening and expanding bilateral relations within the framework of cooperation of twin cities between Dushanbe and Colorado’s Boulder.
Relations between Dushanbe and Boulder have been developing in recent years.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
