Tajik-Chinese Mining Company Increases Production to 11 Million Tons of Ore Per Year

DUSHANBE, 30.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The production performance of the Tajik-Chinese Mining Company LLC in 2021 was significant. Last year, the company fulfilled the plan by 156.6%, reported the Press Service of the Chairman of Sughd.
Yesterday, Chairman of Sughd Rajabboy Ahmadzoda visited this large industrial enterprise of the region, located in Guliston, congratulated its employees on the 25th anniversary of the National Unity Day and the 15th anniversary of the company.
The company has established work on processing ore and producing concentrate of lead, zinc and copper powder. At the time of opening, only the first line was operating with a capacity of 300,000 tons of ore per year. With the construction of two additional workshops in 2020, the company’s capacity has reached 11 million tons of ore processing per year.
Currently, the number of company’s employees is 2,681 people, 75% of them are local residents.
The average salary of the company’s employees in January-May of this year was 3,133 somoni, compared to the same period last year it increased by 243 somoni.
The officials were instructed to cooperate with investors and business leaders on the efficient use of existing capacities, introduction of modern equipment and technologies.
Tajik-Chinese Mining Company LLC was established exactly 15 years ago, on June 29, 2007. On June 26, 2009, on the eve of the National Unity Day, with the participation of President Emomali Rahmon, the first line of this company was put into operation.
