729 New Industrial Enterprises Commissioned in Tajikistan in 2023

DUSHANBE, 25.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – In 2023, the gross domestic product amounted to 130.8 billion somoni and its growth rate was 8.3 percent. This was noted on January 24 during an extended meeting of the Government of Tajikistan.
The inflation rate for this period was 3.8 percent, which is 0.4 percentage points lower than in 2022.
In 2023, the state budget revenues received funds worth 43.2 billion somoni, which is 1.5 billion somoni more than the plan.
During the reporting year, 729 new industrial enterprises were put into operation in Tajikistan, and the development of industrial production was ensured.
