Bokhtar State University Expands International Cooperation with Foreign Institutions

DUSHANBE, July 26, 2026 (NIAT Khovar). Bokhtar State University named after Nosir Khusrav is expanding international cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, research centers and international organizations. Currently, the university maintains partnerships with more than 50 foreign institutions aimed at introducing advanced global experience into the national education system.

First Deputy Rector of Bokhtar State University Khursand Hamdamzoda stated this during a press conference on July 23.

He noted that during the first six months of 2026, the university leadership signed 11 cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding with higher education institutions of several foreign countries. These documents create favorable conditions for implementing joint educational programs, expanding scientific research cooperation, promoting academic exchanges of teachers and students, and launching new international projects.

As part of efforts to improve the professional skills of academic staff and study advanced international practices, 10 university lecturers participated in academic exchange programs and cooperation initiatives with foreign higher education institutions.

The university also continues to develop opportunities for foreign language learning. Within the framework of international cooperation, language centers for studying Russian, English and Korean are operating at the university, contributing to improving students’ language skills and preparing them for the international labor market.
